Interview with Jyoti Sondhi

Today we are going to meet a passionate writer of spirituality Jyoti Sondhi, she is writer of a great book “Lightening the Lamp Within” her book is recently launched and getting popularity worldwide day by day. With this book and her personality she is inspiring people around the world to seek the truth and start the journey of spirituality by illuminating darkness of life. Her calmness and serenity reflects from her thoughts and her ideas. She has a wonderful experience of life and here she is sharing some of her precious thoughts with us, so here we go towards the conversation with Jyoti Sondhi…

Me: Life is so beautiful, beautiful earth beautiful people how you will describe that beautiful life, to us?
Jyoti:

Life is beautiful when people live with the laws of nature, in harmony with the universe, use the Law of Attraction and apply it in their life with positive thoughts and feelings; when they have learnt to be still, be with themselves in faith and gratitude. This is a life of acceptance, of love without negative emotions that pull a lot of us down, without ego and manipulations that keeps the mind churning thoughts one after another.
Me: Peace and calm of a soul is depicted in the life of that person, how yours peaceful and calm soul affect positively the life of yours and your dear ones?
Jyoti:

When we learn to handle stressful situations calmly, we emit energy vibrations of that frequency. After my spiritual awakening, everything around me changed. As I was calm and in peace, I feel I had an influence on my children and brought about a positive change in their behavior.
Me: How your childhood was and which things of your childhood, you still remember and you never forget?
Jyoti:

I had a great childhood brought up by loving and caring parents. My parents were conservative and ritualistic but I received a secure home.
Me: How’s your relationship with your parents and how do they understand you?
Jyoti:

Great! I lost my father in 1993 and I understand and get along with my mother very well. Although we live in different countries, emotionally we feel connected. I have grown spiritually in a different way than her and at times I find myself guiding my mother to look at issues with a different spiritual perspective.
Me: Friends are there as an important parts of life how you will describe your relationship with friends what kind of support they offered you in life?
Jyoti:

Although I have moved countries very often in my life, I have always been able to make a few very good friends. I have always attracted very good people and my friends have helped me sometimes even without my asking.
Me: Why sometime people around us fail to understand each other?
Jyoti:

Ego is too strong to understand other person’s point of view. We spend more time protecting our opinions and beliefs than understanding the other person’s perspectives.
Me: Do you believe in achieving extra ordinary things in life? And is it possible to attain peace and satisfaction in life through achieving such extra ordinary things in life?

Jyoti:
Peace and calm are a state of your inner world. With that state, you can achieve wherever you put your thoughts, actions and focus. Your intention will determine whether you will continue to live in that internal state or not.
Me: How’s your relationship with your kids? So they like your work and appreciate that, to what extent?

Jyoti:

I have two lovely children and my relationship with them has become much stronger after my inner connection developed. They love and respect both of us. It is now not based on need or control but unconditional love. I no longer feel that I need to control them the way traditionally parents do.
Me: What was the moment when you actually decide to become a writer?
Jyoti:

It was not a deliberate decision. I have never had any aspirations to be a writer. I was just flowing with the divine wisdom and felt I needed to put it in writing. That was the start of my blog. It is only after some people read the blog and gave me this idea that I should put all these inspirations in a book.
Me: What was your inspiration to be a writer?
Jyoti:

My inner Truth! It came to me as a divine inspiration.
Me: Do you believe that a writer is a philosopher in his self?
Jyoti:

Depends how you describe a philosopher. An inspirational writer may or may not be a philosopher. I don't consider myself as a philosopher but simply as a channel for knowledge that already exists in the universe.
Me:  Writer is always a strong observer of the surrounding, what are the things which enhance and help in your observation of life?
Jyoti:

My writing is not research based but has come from within. Having said that, I am able to observe the blockages and hurdles in spiritual growth in others and sometimes in my own nature. What helps me is the ability to remain calm and connected when observing people and surroundings.
Me: “Lightening the lamp within” how you will describe that title briefly?
Jyoti:

As a part of many religious rituals, we light a lamp in a place of worship. This lamp symbolizes an action to still our minds, to spread the light and warmth of spiritual wisdom inside us. The book is about practical ways of doing exactly that i.e. living a spiritually enriched life. The title suggests that by lighting the lamp inside us we can connect to our inner Truth and remove the negativities within ourselves, get freedom from our beliefs that hold us, neutralize ego that creates an illusion of separation from the Divine. Once we remove our blockages, we can live in joy, clam and peace.

Me: You are strong believer of spirituality, do you think that spirituality is itself a religion or not?

Jyoti:
Different religions offer various paths of the same spiritual journey.

You can call it by whatever name! Spirituality is an inner journey and an individual one. If your inner connection gives you calm and peace, live in faith and gratitude and you have been released of your negative thoughts and emotions and you feel love from within, released the beliefs that hold you, neutralized the ego then that is spirituality for me. We can help others; show them what we have experienced. We can describe a flower but each one has to smell the flower himself.
Me: You said that one shouldn’t have fear of God but only the love of God, how you will describe this idea?
Jyoti:

Love is all there is. We are all elements of love that we can also call energy God. Fear and Love are the same energy on different vibrations. Fear prevents us from feeling our connection with the Divine. When our inner world is full of Divine love, there is no place for fear.
Me: Do you believe in God and don’t you think one should peacefully follow the religion which gives a rightist concept of God?
Jyoti:

All religions lead to the same Truth. We can call this Truth by any name. For me my inner connection to the Divine Source gives me eternal joy, faith and gratitude. You can do this by following a religion or not. It is an individual choice!
Me: Your book is guide for people to make their life and soul calm and progressive, how far you think people can learn from you book, the way as you want?
Jyoti:

Each person will be touched by the book at the level he/she is ready to receive it. It all depends upon how open they are. All I am attempting is to make them aware so that they can observe themselves, be vigilant of their hurdles and learn to neutralize them.
Me: The dream of your life was your book or something else?
Jyoti:

I had never thought of writing a book even till two years back. It just happened on its own very suddenly.
Me: What is the passion of your life, writing or something else?
Jyoti:

Well, I was passionate about teaching French to my students. Right now, it is difficult to say what my passion is as I am going with the flow. I know the Universe is leading me to where I need to.
Me: How you will describe Love and what’s it importance in life?
Jyoti:

Love is all there is! Only when love is without expectations can one give unconditionally love. That is the Love that can break down all barriers between people.
Me: Which is your greatest wish in life?
Jyoti:

That I continue to progress in my spiritual journey.
Me: Have you been conscious of people that what they think about you and how they feel about you, the kind of opinion others have for you , actually affects your life or not?
Jyoti:
Actually no! I live with integrity and am true to myself. So there are people who might think that I am not diplomatic enough but I accept that as my mind is calm and in peace.
Me: fill in the blank “I keep on thinking about __________”
Jyoti:

“I keep on thinking about Divine Source”
Me: Your message for all the readers of yours?
Jyoti:

Get in touch with your inner being by observing few minutes of silence from thoughts. Be aware of your feelings.

Interview with Aamir Khatri

Hi readers Today we are going to meet a great painter , who paints with a thought of Peace ,his paintings are a message for the humanity ,a message of peace and respect for this world. He is a textile designer professionally but he is painting since childhood and has created a great collection of meaningful paintings .His project of painting is "thirst of Peace" and "Women feelings".Here is the conversation with the inspiring painter Aamir Khatri I hope you will keen to learn from his life ,experiences and his peaceful thoughts Here we go:

ME: “Painting is the greatest inspiration of your life "do you think this line describes your life best or not?

Aamir:
Yes, my art is experience of my life…
ME: How much important painting and designing is in your life?
Aamir:
I am a God gifted artist, so I can’t live without doing art. I create new artworks daily. As we know that in Pakistan artists can’t choose paintings as a profession, so I am doing designs for earning bread and butter. I love to do Painting for my inner satisfaction and sharing my views easily with human beings. So, painting and designing is as important for me as respiratory system is important in everyone's life.
Me: Childhood of every one imposes a great effect on one’s life, personality and character, how you feel about your childhood?
Aamir:
Yes I believe on it, whatever I am today is a result of human behavior. I have much more things to share, the question is this that why I decide to paint? What were my feelings which force me to do something new? How I feel that I have this talent? Why I use this God gifted ability for attention peoples towards me? Definitely I have some feelings of ignorance. I must say that my feelings of ignorance push me to do art. I can say my childhood was not very good but not very bad. When I move towards my childhood I see only my mother. She did a lot for us like all mothers but I think she did little bit more than her abilities……
I always remember autograph message of my teacher Miss Seema Ghazi,
“Social to all, familiar to some,
Friendship to one, enemy to none”
Me: Did you believe in fantasies when you were a child and do you think childhood fantasies are important for one or not?
Aamir:
Yes, I believed in fantasies in childhood and fantasies are important for children because fantasies are the demand of childhood. Fantasies are the most interesting things in childhood.
Me: What you really wish to become; a painter, designer or something else you wished to do?

Aamir:
I had always wished to become a painter but as we know that we (Pakistanis) can't choose only art as our profession that's why I also choose designing to earn bread and butter but if I will be able to afford my expenses through my art I will definitely do paintings
Because I like a timeless life with no boundaries of time.
ME: Do you think parents play an important role in one’s life and did they promote and encourage your talent in childhood?
Aamir:
Yes parents play an important role in everyone's life. They're first who encourage child's talent. My parents also promote and encourage my talent. my parent want me to be a engineer as I show my interest towards mechanical toys but later on when they saw my drawings and sketches then they promote me with my artworks.. So, yeah its true that parents play a very big role in one's life and they promote and encourage my talent a lot in childhood.
Me: How your relationship with siblings is, do they like and respect your art work too?

Aamir:
I have three sisters and one brother; they all love and appreciate my artworks.
Me: How many best friends you have? Do you think all your friends are honest to you? Do you give importance to honesty in friendship?

Aamir:
The friends about whom you are asking are very few in my life because friendship need much more time, friendship is the name of give and take, and it needs sacrifices and proofs of pure love. Unfortunately, I have no time to arrange these proofs. All human beings are my friends and all human beings are my best friends. Honesty is not only important for friendship but a human being should be honest in all aspects of life.
ME:One advice of your parents you never forget and still follow that advice, is?

Aamir:
My parents always give us a message of love and peace.. I follow this advice until today and will follow this advice forever..
Me:If you couldn't be a painter or designer than what else you wished to be in your life?

Aamir:
As I said that in childhood I wished to become an engineer. But now I like myself as I am; with a little bit of more experience..
Me: have you been conscious of people that what they think about you and how they feel about you, the kind of opinion others have for you , actually affects your life or not?
Aamir:
I am not conscious about people, everyone have own mind and they can think and feel anything about anyone, so what do they think about me is their personal matter, if they think positive about me I appreciate and if they have negative feelings I can't do anything except praying for them. Sometimes, the circumstances are very critical; in such conditions, their thoughts may affect my life.

Me: “Thirst of peace” what were the stimuli for this idea? How it started in your mind?

     Aamir:
It was year 2000 when I talked to people about "THIRST OF PEACE" and pigeons, I remember one  thing that I always thought about those orphan children whose parents were being killed in the wars, that what   will be the feelings and thinking of those innocent children? I have no idea that were there any wars or not on  the map of the world except of Kashmir.
I think this was the start of my thirst of peace.
Me: What is the biggest dream of your life that you never ever being able to fulfill?

Aamir:
I always wanted to do something for orphans and widows but I have never being able to fulfill this dream of mine. But I hope that I will be able to fulfill this dream very soon.

Me: Painting is an art but I feel its more like an “act” how you actually feel while doing this act, acts of painting?
Aamir:
Painting is my passion. I feel very nice and proud while doing this act of peace in my paintings. Like nowadays I m working on "THIRST OF PEACE" and this is a motive of mine and I feel so happy and proud that I m working for peace.
Me: You are working with the motive of peace, how you will describe the sense of peace in your words?

Aamir:
A place where no hates, no jealousies, no clashes, no wars, no weapons, no snatchings, no kidnapping, no bribes, no bad ideas, no wrong feelings, no murders, no killings, where no one is hungry, every one is dressed cleanly, where every one follow the laws, no crimes, where every one is happy, where human beings live with love, where human beings have equal rights to live, where every child can get education and where every one thinks positive for every one.
Me: Do you think human beings are quite peaceful creation?

Aamir:
Unfortunately, leaderships make people involve in anti peace activities otherwise all human beings are peaceful, they have daily routine works and they have no time for such activities. Most of them are quite peaceful creation.
Me: If I ask you to describe your achievements till now in life what you will say about that?

Aamir:
As far as the paintings are concerned the biggest achievement till now is that people know me for peace and humanity. Secondly I have my own style to make artworks and now it has become my identity. So, it is also a big achievement for me..
Me: Do you think your efforts for peace and humanity will change the world some how?

Aamir:
Yes, I think so.
Me:How important is family for you and how your family describes your work?

Aamir:
My family is my life, my family like my artworks and helps me in executing new artworks.
Me:Which is your favorite most painting of yours?

Aamir:
There are many paintings.
Me: You paint the “women feelings” what is the core idea behind that? Do you believe that women are under rated in our society?

Aamir:
We all know that where a women of Pakistan is standing? Truly we all know the reality and our society’s behavior towards women? Girls before and after marriage not every girl but a majority of girls are suffering problems and we can’t say it a peace. A woman is living around us in our society as a mother, as a sister, as a daughter and as a wife……..we should have to give respect.
The basic idea behind art series "WOMEN FEELINGS” is to highlight and trying to change this human behavior I need peace in every aspects of life and I would give my views through my art where ever I think it is necessary.
Me: fill in the blank “I keep on thinking about _____________”

    Aamir:
I keep on thinking about "ORPHAN CHILDREN"
Me:Your message for all the readers of yours?
Aamir:
Be strong enough to forgive every one...

Interview with MAITLAND KALTON

Hi dear readers today we are going to meet a wonderful personality Maitland Kalton.
Who is a writer, and spiritual philosopher, in one word I will describe him as a “FREE SOUL” and “PEACEFUL  PERSON”.
He was formerly a lawyer, did LLB from University of Birmingham but now he is just free from every bond and any worldly threads .He is enjoying life as best  as he can. He is a writer and has two blog websites. he is there for all of my readers you are really going to be amazed after reading the interview of the most simple, loving and spiritual personality .Maitland is a symbol of Love  , Peace , humanity and spiritualism all in his self. So here is our conversation, me and our nature loving celebrity “Maitland”.
Me: What do you think of your life?
Maitland:
Generally, I love my life. I am free unlike most people and I can do what I want and follow my heart in everything and I promised myself the best life possible and so my life will always be exciting, challenging, satisfying and fun.
Me: We all are a part of this world and living here from centuries now how is it felt to live on earth?

Maitland:
How it now feels to live on earth at this time is not easy to say. In many ways it feels very sad as we destroy the very thing that gives us everything including our bodies, that is mother earth. But despite the appalling way we treat her, she is still beautiful in many places. I hate the effect of mankind’s greed and of tourism that is like poison to her.

Me:
Childhood of every one imposes a great effect on one’s life, personality and character, how your childhood plays an important role in your life?
 Maitland:
This is too big a question to answer fully. I don’t think you realize how big a question it is. I could write books on the subject. You see, childhood is the period of development of the personality or ego and what we do is we see how people react to us and we then decide who we are based on what we think we see in other people’s reactions. So, for example, I was aged 3 when I broke a valuable wedding present of my parents. As a result, my father slapped me hard and sent me to my room and I made that mean two things: that Daddy doesn’t love me (& it is my fault that he doesn’t) and that I must be worthless because the valuable wedding present means more to him than me! That may sound crazy but that is how the mind of a young child works. We all have our own version of such things and they are NEVER true, but the ego thinks they are and tries to protect us from further pain and either sets out to prove itself wrong (I am worthy something) or just gives in and accepts it. Either version is unreal and unhelpful and in my case it was one of the reasons I always try to fix people’s problems to prove I am worthy of their love and approval and also why I became a lawyer who not only helps people fix problems but also earns a lot of money, thereby proving my worth...except nothing is ever enough to satisfy the desperate ego. Only when we learn to rise above it can we then find true happiness. So, you see, there is so much to this - all the many things that happen and the decisions we make as a result - they shape who we think we are and it is always far less that we are capable of if we embrace our Allah within us all.

Me:What do you think it’s important to dream of achieving extra ordinary things in life or not? What extra ordinary things you being able to achieve in life?
Maitland:
Yes, it is the only way to expand one’s experience of life and of one’s true self. The sad thing is that most people don’t dream big because they believe in the rubbish the ego has decided about who they are. So some people won’t even dream at all. It s important to dream but also to believe that it is somehow possible, even if you don’t know how it can happen.
I have dreams bigger than anyone I know. I want to be a famous writer and teacher who helps many millions of people find their true selves and then to achieve great things in their lives. I want to help the whole planet move successfully into the new age. I want to have retreats and schools around the world to teach people that they truly can be anything they want if they believe it and have patience. I want to inspire mankind to unify as a single whole and to bring peace to the entire planet. I will settle for nothing less that this which is my life purpose to which I am dedicated.
Me :Siblings are always there as a part of your family and also life, how much your siblings influenced your life?
Maitland:
There is a saying: “You can choose your friends but not your relatives” but that is not true - before we incarnate, we choose our parents and they choose us. But siblings are different though they are also there to teach us things. I have 1 brother (who died 2.5 months ago) and one sister who is someone I thought I loved very much but I now have woken up to the fact that she has been jealous of me and hated me since she was a tiny girl - she was deeply jealous because I was very close to my mother who died over 5 years ago now. So, as far as I am concerned I have no close family left. My father was a bad father but he is a bit better now but I will never be very close to him - he is too selfish and stupid but I do love him in way as he is my father and gave me life. I have forgiven him for the very bad things he did to me as a child that made me very unhappy - the only person who was worse for me was my sister!
Me :Do you that your friends are important in your life? Can you consider a good life ever, without friends?
Maitland:
Yes. I thought I had many friends (hundreds) but in times of hardship you find who your true friends are and you can count them on one hand. My friends are very special and important to me.
Me :How many best friends you have? Do you think all your friends are honest to you? Do you give importance to honesty in friendship?
Maitland:
You can only have one “best” friend by definition. “Best” is the ultimate and so after that comes close friends. So I will take your question to mean, how many close friends (including my best friend) do I have. I include my partner in this so that makes 4 or 5.
Me :Can you consider a good life ever, without friends?
Maitland:
As long as I have my partner and my dog, I can have company and the rest is a bonus but I do like having friends but most people are disappointing so one must first love and like oneself which is sadly lacking in 99% of the population. I love who I am becoming. I am proud of my loving nature and my genuine care for others to have the best life possible. My best love and friend is Allah. Allah is sometimes funny, sometimes stern but always caring and loving and is reliable like no human.
Me :How is your relationship with your parents, do you think they have guide you the best way they can? And how you feel about their importance in your life?
Maitland:
I partly answered this above already. I will add that even though my father was bad to me as a child, he still influenced me positively because I wanted to prove him wrong and so for instance he always criticized my English skills yet I am a former lawyer and also a writer and I am told my writings come from the heart and are special, and even he thinks I write amazingly good letters now! My mother was more of a positive influence on me. She loved people and was very friendly and fair as well as fun and playful. All these things I take from her along with respect for others and good manners, all of which have served me so very well in life. There is not doubt that, positively or negatively, my parents, as with most parents, have had a key role to play in my life.
Me :What do you think of your studies, are you satisfied with them or you wished to study some other subjects or join some other fields of education in life?
Maitland:
I studied quite well and did quite well. I did a degree in law, then qualified in law in England and Wales and then 20 years later I qualified in New York too, achieving a very good grade. I have also studied informally and consider myself an expert on human behavior and human spirituality to a level maybe even equal to a doctorate and it is on these subjects that I will eventually write many books. So I am no longer interested in reading about other people’s theories but sooner experience things 1st hand so I can write from my heart in the knowledge that it works and is real because I have experienced it - far more powerful than just copying and interpreting things other people have written.
Me :have you been conscious of people that what they think about you and how they feel about you, the kind of opinion others have for you , actually affects your life or not?
Maitland:
I used to worry about such things as many people do but now I don’t care. People take me as I am and if they do not like whom I am, then so be it, our friendship ends. I am true to myself in the face of everything and anything. I will allow no-one to alter that, not even my beloved partner.
Me :Who is your favorite politician? What will be the future of your country Politics in your view?
Maitland:
Mohandas Gandhi
What will be the future of your country Politics in your view? I don’t trust any politician in my home country (England) or in Thailand but this will change with the new age of man and I hope to play my part in bringing about a far fairer society with no corruption or privilege.
Me :Are you satisfied with your current job?
 Maitland:
I don’t have a job and have worked for myself for nearly 23 years now and I would never work for anyone else as it makes no sense to me.

Me :How you think you can promote your business in future?
Maitland:
I can’t answer this question other than by saying that my new business that I will launch this year will be so amazing I won’t need to promote it much at all and people will be queuing up to be included in one of my retreats.
Me :What is the biggest dream of your life that you never ever being able to fulfill?
Maitland:
None - I can fulfill all my dreams with Allah’s help and I will do so
Me :Which your dream actually materialized out of your expectations?
Maitland:
My partner, my dog, my living in Thailand, my being a writer.
Me :Do you really believe in dreaming?
Maitland:
Yes, it is essential otherwise we merely exist and never grow.
Me:Who is the most inspiring personality of your life? And Why?
Maitland:
Jesus, Kwan Yin, Mohandas Gandhi, Muhammad Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank, my grandfather, so many in fact. They all had great strength yet were just human (I do not believe Jesus is God although I do believe we are all part of God or Allah) and they were dedicated to humans as was Mohamed too.
Me :Do you think, you are always right in your life by far and have you reached the place where you wished to be always?
Maitland:
No, we can never be right always and there is always more to learn, more to experience, more to grow.
Me :What is the true passion of your life, for which you can do any thing at any time?
Maitland:
Writing from my heart and helping people see who they really are.
Me :Do you believe in love and miracles? Do thing that Love is nothing more than a miracle in life?
Maitland:
Love is the only truth and miracles are all around us especially in nature.
Me :How marriages play an important role in people life?
Maitland:
I don’t like marriages always because people are then trapped and not free. I will one day marry my partner but if and when one ceases to be a source of grow and joy in my life, I would end it - my prayer is that one is always with me because we grow together but only time will tell. I don’t believe in staying in relationships that have ceased to serve a useful purpose in one’s life.
Me :What is your greatest wish in life?
Maitland:
That mankind unites as a single entity and we have world peace and that we have honesty and integrity in all our dealings so that we can trust people as the norm in society.
Me:What‘s your philosophy of life?
Maitland:
Love.
Me:fill in the blank “I keep on thinking about _____________”
Maitland:
I keep on thinking about
LOVE & PEACE & HARMONY IN NATURE
Me :One thing that you will do must in future?
Maitland:
Teach from my heart to expand the greatness within us all.
Me :What is the best way according to you, to help the poor and needy people in world?
Maitland:
Show them they are great and can be, do and have anything they desire if they just believe in it and have infinite patience - this applies to everyone, no matter how poor.
Me :Your message for all the readers of yours?
Maitland:
Love yourself, be true to yourself always and treat others as you would wish them to treat you.
Me :What you think Allah is just for Muslims?
Or for all humanity and do you think not only Muslims but all human beings can say that I have Allah?
Maitland:
Of course for all humans
The word "Allah" is a label, a limitation But the true spirit of Allah is unlimited
Infinite. All powerful, It is God, It is Allah,It is so much more
It is everything, no exceptions.
Allah is the label of the force by Muslims,God is the label of the force by Jews & Christians
The universe is the label of the force by new age thinkers like me
But that are all limiting labels
None is wrong or right
